No shortage of alligators lately! We have been seeing sooo many alligators, birds, and snakes on our full day adventure Tour as well as our Everglades Wilderness Safari. During a recent reptile exhibit one of our green anacondas really took a liking to one of our passengers and was giving her many hugs and kisses! What a riot!
Here’s our Naturalist and Reptile expert Rick and his friend “Grumpy” during the reptile exhibit on a recent All Day Everglades Adventure Tour. One of our guides, Gator D, grabbed this photo. Never a dull moment! We never no what to expect from our guides!
The wildlife viewing has been fantastic as always here in the Everglades. We have been seeing lots of alligators basking in the sun’s rays, and a variety of birds species feeding. A couple of our recent guests, Diana and Thibaut, sent us this great photo of them holding our albino python while on our All Day Adventure Tour. They sure are brave! What a great day we all had.
Having a great time on our Everglades Adventure Tour. Here’s a photo of one of our guides, Cristina, out in the Fakahatchee Swamp with the Page family. What a great day we had seeing lots of alligators, egrets, anhingas, and herons. The Page family survived their day in the Everglades with Cristina so they also braved more of her tours and joined her on a kayaking eco-tour, and a dolphin shelling cruise. You can read about those tours here: www.goodtimecharter.com
Here are a couple of great photos taken by one of our fantastic guides, Dwight a.k.a Gator D. He also keeps an online blog of all his adventures at www.gatord.blogspot.com
The wildlife has been abundant in the Everglades. We have been spotting lots of alligators and birds. Flocks of herons, ibis, and egrets roosting in the cypress. We have also been spotting night herons, anhingas, white pelicans, and woodstorks. On a recent wildlife drive there was a panther on the path! What a rare thrill that was as these cats can be elusive.
We spotted this venemous cottonmouth while on a recent nature walk on the full day tour. We definitely kept our distance and stayed on the elevated boardwalk!
