We have been so many alligators out in the Everglades from large and small. We spotted a huge 12 foot alligator on the wildlife drive through the Preserve on a recent Adventure tour, and the same day saw baby alligators. Beware though! Momma was less than 5 feet away keeping a sharp eye so we kept our distance. We have been seeing lots of birds including roseate spoonbills. It is such a  beautiful area to explore.

What an exciting week it has been! Some morning have been starting our with thick fog and light rain but then have turned into just spectacular days. The sun rises and burns off the fog and the winds shift and clears out the rain… leaving us with beautiful sunny days and a cool breeze. The alligators have been sunning as usual, and the birding has been excellent. Here are a couple photos of some brave women during the Interactive reptile exhibit on our full Day Everglades Adventure tour.

We had the pleasure of seeing 2 owls on the Swamp Buggy ride during the Everglades Adventure Tour, along with hawks and deer. What a beautiful day. The alligators and turtles also have been out sunning themselves and we have had some great photo opportunities to see them  while on the nature drive through the Preserve during the full day Everglades Adventure Tour.

What beautiful weather we have been having and wildlife galore! It is mid-November and we are just having wonderful experiences out in the Everglades. Here are a couple pics from a recent Everglades Adventure tour. One is of one of our wonderful passengers on the Swamp buggy ride enjoying an elevated view of the vast wet prairie. The other is of another brave soul hugging an anaconda! We are still seeing deer, and red shouldered hawks. The alligators are coming out in the sun more everyday to enjoy the sun.

Another gorgeous day in the Everglades. The alligators have been out more and more everyday with the cooler night time temperatures so they are out basking and soaking up the warmth from the sun all day.  The birding has been outstanding as well, with Osprey starting their nesting season, as well as the woodstorks. We have been seeing many alligators out on the wildlife drive during the Everglades Adventure tour basking in the sun. It is always so beautiful and scenic in the Everglades just gazing out over the marsh prairies dotted with palm hammocks. Just amazing.

We have been having some great wildlife viewing and fun on our Everglades Adventure tour this October. The deer have been so abundant that we had a delay on a recent swamp buggy ride as they took their time moving off the trail! We have been having some cool nights that are causing the alligators to be out in the open more and more to sun themselves and we have been spotting many of them in the Preserve on the wildlife drive part of our full day Adventure tour. The pics are from a recent Adventure tour when this young gentlemen braved holding a huge albino python and the snake thought he would seek shelter up the young man’s sleeve!

The summer rains are back and the alligators are so happy in the Everglades again! Well, honestly, alligators never look happy, but they have been so abundant and out enjoying the freshwater again. We also have been spotting a lot of different kinds of birds in the preserve, such as little blue herons, and anhingas. Here is a recent photo of a family on our Full Day Adventure tour. I love the young lady who is so brave to hold this albino python!

Lots of wildlife activity in the Everglades. Its mating season for the alligators and a lot of our Opreys and eagles are raising their chicks. We usually see a lot of wildlife this time of year and this year has been no different. Water levels are seasonally low in the Glades right now with the lack of rain. Here are a couple pics from a recent Adventure Tour. Have you hugged a Python lately?
